Carissa Gray

Carissa has been tattooing at Crux Art for over twenty years. She feels that it is one of the most rewarding and challenging arts she has laid her hands on. “My favorite work to do is color, but I hold a special love for placement and composition.” She thinks layout is often a neglected aspect of tattooing, especially with the rising number of people getting the acceptable small piece. “If the design does not compliment the body and the placement doesn’t compliment the design then why do it?
